Garbanzo beans are great for making homemade hummus, they can add a little extra crunch to your salad, or they can be served roasted and drenched in sriracha with the perfect amount of heat. These Sriracha Beer Beans are hands down the best way to enjoy them. Although no beer is actually in the recipe, we suggest you keep a Kirin Ichiban close by. The only thing that could make these fire balls better is a side of beer cheese.
- 2 cans garbanzo beans
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1-2 tablespoons of Sriracha (depending on your personal taste)
- 1 lime
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Place bean mixture on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes in the oven until golden brown. Turn oven on low broil for a few more minutes and roast beans for a little extra crunch.
