Ditch the rusty grill for an upscale take on seasonal cooking.
This outdoor dream kitchen was built with repurposed pieces of granite. The frame is constructed of metal studs to withstand high temperatures, and a stacked stone exterior finish. To highlight the 10ft ceilings we created a focal point with backsplash from grill to ceiling.

DIY Kitchen Tips:

-Instead of covering an entire wall with backsplash, try an accent to the ceiling that draws your eye up and gives a focal point to the kitchen.

-If you have large pieces of old granite, save them, you never know when they may come in handy. The countertop alone is a huge cost of building any kitchen.

-When selecting your tile color and surface in the store, think about how it might change in outdoor lighting. It’s always good to bring home a sample piece and see how it looks in the natural light.

This is one dream kitchen we could get used to!
